Pale yellow, long-bladed crystals of sillimanite in slightly divergent groups, lying flat on a foliation plane in hornblende-quartz-feldspar gneiss. This specimen, FMM-2208 of the Franklin Mineral Museum, was collected by John L. Baum on October 8, 1989, during his exploration field work for the New Jersey Zinc Company and subsequently donated to the FMM.
