Radiating sprays of dark green, acicular actinolite crystals 0.5-2 cm long on brown andradite crystals, both lining a vug 8 cm across in massive andradite. The actinolite crystals have been freed by dissolving the calcite that once enclosed them in acid. This specimen, formerly number 299x in the collection of Fred Parker, is now in the collection of Steven Phillips.
