Azurite

Films and small masses of deep blue azurite in a granular aggregate of residual franklinite.  A 1-cm vug on the end of the specimen contains small, exquisite, lustrous crystals of azurite.  Also present within the specimen is a black mineral with dull luster and subconchoidal fracture (chalcocite?), plus (mostly on back of specimen as photographed) chalky tan grains of a mineral that may once have been calcite.  This material is porous and quite vuggy on a micro scale.
