Dark olive green adamite with a microbotryoidal surface forming a discontinuous encrustation on brown yukonite(?), both coating a fracture surface in “black ore” from the Sterling mine. The white mineral at right is the latest to form and occurs as sprays of acicular crystals but has not yet been examined. The ore is fine-grained, as is typical of this type, and consists of black franklinite, dark-colored willemite, pale pinkish-tan calcite, and sparse grains of blue-fluorescent sphalerite. Sterling Hill Mining Museum specimen SHMM-2187; ex John Kolic specimen 110.
